About our Safer Housing and Communities Service:
Big things are happening in Coventry! We're on a mission to address issues in our vibrant and growing private rented sector. With a key strategic priority to keep residents safe and tackle poor housing conditions, the Safer Housing and Communities service is looking for passionate individuals to help shape and deliver our key services to landlords, tenants, and residents. Coventry is currently one of the leading authorities in undertaking housing enforcement action, making it an exciting place to work and make a real impact.
What We Do:
Our team responds to complaints in the Private Rented Sector and implements the Mandatory and Additional HMO licensing schemes. We deal with issues caused by the poor management of privately rented HMO properties. This is your chance to work in a busy, high-profile environment, inspecting and enforcing standards in all private rented homes, HMOs, and HMO licensing.
