Environmental Health/Health and Safety Officer

A council based in Sussex is seeking an experienced Environmental Health/Health and Safety Officer to join their team on a part-time contract.

The Role

• Conduct and support health and safety regulation projects, including Electrical safety inspections within the hospitality sector and accident investigations and inspections.
• Delivering health and safety training to staff
• Preparing essential health and safety documentation, such as policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Investigating internal staff accidents and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.
• Must have recent health and safety regulation experience and prior involvement with internal health and safety advice
