Senior Environmental Health Officer

A council based in Sussex are looking for a Senior Environmental Health Officer to assist with Environmental Protection across the district.

What's in it for you

• £40-£50p/h
• Hybrid working (3 days in office/on site)
• 37 hours per week
• 3/4 month contract (possible extension)

The Role

• Respond to pollution complaints, enforce Pollution Prevention Controls and take enforcement
  action where necessary
• Investigate planning and licensing consultations
• Enforce Pollution Prevention Controls and assess and consider air quality.
• Manage a variety of planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries as well as producing application reports
• Degree in Environmental Health and registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board or CIEH as an environmental health practitioner required
