Do you have experience assessing water systems and ensuring compliance with Legionella legislation? Currently seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to play a vital role in protecting public health and ensuring water safety.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Legionella risk assessments for a wide range of clients and properties, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
  • Inspect and evaluate water systems, including tanks, cooling towers, and water heaters, to identify potential Legionella risks.
  • Produce detailed reports outlining risk assessment findings and provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement water management plans in compliance with current regulations ( ACOP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, etc.).
  • Carry out routine monitoring, sampling, and testing of water systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to clients on Legionella control and water hygiene practices.
  • Stay up to date with changes in industry regulations and best practices.

  Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or in a similar water hygiene role. Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines ( e.g., ACOP L8, HSG274 ).
  • Strong technical understanding of water systems and Legionella control measures.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise reports and risk assessments.
  • Full UK driving licence (or equivalent, if applicable).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  Desirable Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds, BOHS, or equivalent certification in Legionella Risk Assessing.
  • Experience with water monitoring, sampling, and water treatment practices.
  • Knowledge of building services, mechanical systems, or plumbing.
