Due to the area’s unique environmental profile, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Professional to join our team and help us safeguard the health and wellbeing of our communities. This role involves an engaging mix of Private Water Supplies (PWS) and Environmental Protection work, with a focus on risk assessments, sampling, and managing environmental statutory nuisances.
About the Role: The work will support the essential function of risk assessing and sampling PWS in compliance with relevant regulations. You’ll be empowered to make a positive impact on both urban and rural areas.
What We’re Looking For:
- A certified Environmental Health Professional, meeting EN ISO/IEC 17024 or EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards (or an internationally recognized equivalent).
- Sufficient PWS experience and an Environmental Health degree (or equivalent qualification).
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to your work, with a passion for public and environmental health.
