Job Details
Our local authority client, based in Essex are looking for someone who has the skills and experience to carry out our duties in relation to landlords and tenants to ensure improvements to the private rented sector. This will include HHSRS inspections as well as HMO licensing. It is crucial that you can manage you own workload and hit the ground running as there will be work to get going with right away, you will be asked to deliver improvements in housing standards in the private sector and to reduce the negative impact on health caused by poor housing conditions.
This role will require an experienced and qualified officer. EHORB would be a preference but at the very least you must hold the HHSRS certificate. You will need to have at least 2+ years experience within this field.
This is a long term contract, the client anticipates between 6 to 12 months as you will be working on their Damp and Mould/Excess Cold Proactive Project. This contract will pay between £40 to £45 per hour.
