Job Details

Our client is looking for a suitably qualified Environmental Health Practitioner to carry out 87 premises inspections.

Of the 87, approximately 47 will require a partial / compliance check inspection format whereby you will visit the premises to check records, verify FBO details, check for compliance against known details for the premises previous inspection record, complete a visit report form and in some instances carry out some environmental swabbing.

The remaining 40 inspections will be standard Cat D premises that are due for inspection. Some more involve both hygiene and standards inspections, if you are suitable competent to inspect for standards.

For the standard inspections you will complete a full inspection report and you will be required to issue a letter afterwards to notify of risk ratings. You will be provide with a template document which you will email back to the Council and they will send out the letters to business.

Our client is based in the North East, and we will be looking to to pay around £60-£70 per inspection and ideally we would like to allocate the work to one inspector since this is a relatively small project.
