Position Overview: As the Pollution Control Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Service and lead a skilled team in managing all aspects of pollution control. Your expertise in areas such as statutory nuisance, Environmental Permitting, planning consultation, land contamination, air and water quality, and drainage will be crucial in guiding the team and ensuring successful service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage pollution investigations and the enforcement function of the Local Authority.
• Provide expert advice to other departments on pollution-related matters.
• Oversee budget management, produce and deliver service plans, and utilize performance data to enhance departmental effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, and professional codes of practice.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Service to maintain high standards of service.
