Fire Safety Surveyor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to join our team within the Private Sector Housing division. This role is focused on surveying private residential buildings over 11 meters in height, with a key emphasis on identifying and remediating fire safety hazards, particularly combustible external cladding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential buildings to assess fire safety.
• Identify, document, and report on fire hazards, with a focus on combustible cladding.
• Provide expert recommendations and solutions to improve fire safety.
• Prepare detailed reports and support enforcement actions as necessary.
• Engage with tenants, landlords, and property managers to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Level 4 qualification in a relevant field or extensive experience in fire safety assessments.
• Proven experience in fire safety inspections, building surveying, and contract management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle complex and sensitive information.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for business use are essential.
