Job Details

We are currently running a project to deliver c2000 food premises inspections over the course of the year 2024-25. This is part of an ongoing, long term contract we have in place that has been running for a number of years.

Based in the South West, our client has a very active inspection programme and will provide a mixture of Cat C, D and E premises. There may be some Cat Bs but the core of the work is low risk food premises.

The work is straight forward and simply requires you to complete the inspection, inspection report and issue the FHRS. There are no additional admin requirements.

The work programme is extremely flexible and will suit those looking for ad hoc part time work or those who are willing to undertake more inspections and focus on this as your main job role. We will allocate inspections based on postcodes so you can focus on a particular area which help makes delivery as efficient as possible.

To carry out the work you will need recent Local Authority inspection experience and you will need to provide evidence of your competency in line with Code of Practice specifications. You will need an excellent knowledge of the Brand Standard.

We will pay £72 per inspection for Cat C/D premises and £40 for Cat E. You can work via a Ltd Co if you wish or you can work via an umbrella company.
