Environmental Health Officer / Regulatory Services Officer

As a result of internal promotion within the team, there is an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer or Regulatory Services Officer/Food Safety Officer to join our team, working in a very challenging yet beautiful part of Scotland ( ABplace2b) Working from the Oban office, you will undertake the full range of environmental health enforcement, including public health and food safety. There will be a requirement to manage your own district workload (which will include travel and work on the islands of Mull, Tiree and Coll), whilst ensuring and protecting public health. We will provide you with varied workload in all areas of environmental health, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, a relocation package (where appropriate) and a salary of £40,914 to £44,272). Recognising the national shortage of Environmental Health Officers, the post may be filled as a Regulatory Services Officer (Salary £35786-£39819). 

An opportunity is also available for an EHO/Food Safety Officer for maternity cover to August 2025, and the opportunity to live nad work in Oban, working in the team who regulate the extensive approved food export sector (fish, shellfish, smokeries and distilleries)
