Environmental Health and Community Safety Manager

A unique and exciting opportunity exists to push forward the Council’s safety agenda. We have recognised the importance of integrating environmental health and community safety into one service, which includes the Council’s Community Wardens, and need someone who has the skill and drive to take this further.
We are looking for the successful person to have experience in either environmental health or in community safety, have excellent interpersonal skills, management experience, be innovative and have financial management experience.
We will promise you a challenge to create a contemporary service that will play a critical role in protecting the public and the Council’s levelling up agenda.
So if you are motivated, enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to rise to the challenges posed by improving services, policies and procedures and developing and motivating the team to make the Environmental Health and Community Safety Team the best team of its kind, then you are what we are looking for.
