Job Details
We have a long-standing contract with Birmingham City Council and we have recently been awarded an extension to our food inspection contract that will run until 2027.
We are looking for additional resource to join the project in an effort to deliver 3000 inspections before the end of February 2025.
Delivering the work is very straight forward, you will simply be asked to complete a full premises inspection and associated paperwork including issuing the Food Hygiene Rating Score. The work programme is very flexible and allows for weekend and evening work. We will ask you for a specified period and ask you to commit to a certain number. If you complete your initial quota we can easily add more work to your programme if you desire.
The work will be paid on a unit basis for each inspection completed with rates as below:
£55 Cat C
£50 Cat D
£45 Cat E
We need those with experience inspecting on behalf of a Local Authority. You will need to provide evidence of your competency before the client can approve you to join the project. You will need to be qualified to carry out both hygiene and standards inspections.
You can work via a limited company or umbrella.
