Environmental Health Officer

One of my Local authority clients, in South Wales, is currently looking for two EHOs to join their Commercial team. One to cover food hygiene inspections and complaints, the other as a H&S specialist.

Duty:

Carry routine Food Hygiene Inspection and follow-up paperwork.

Responding to food hygiene complaints

Responding to infectious disease outbreaks

Update the Uniform database accordingly.

Responses to Health & Safety complaints

RIDDORS 

Details:

Contract length: 3 month initial contract, with potential for a further 3 month extension

Hours: Full-time (37 hours)

Rates: Up to £42 - DOE 

Payment method: Umbrella

Working arrangements: Hybrid, some district work required for inspections

Start date: August

Requirements:

Degree in Environmental Health or Higher cert in Food Control / Inspection

Up to date Competency matrix

20 hours CPD

Access to your own vehicle & full UK driver's license.

Experience in Uniform database (advantageous)
