Commercial Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer

One of my Essex-based Local authority clients is currently looking for an EHO or Food Safety Officer to join their Commercial team.

You will be assisting them with their low-risk Food hygiene inspections (CAT C & D) and reactive Health and Safety requirements.

Duty:

Carry routine Food Hygiene Inspection and follow-up paperwork.

Update the Uniform database accordingly.

RIDDORS 

Details:

Contract length: 8 months / until end of March 2025.

Hours: Full-time (37 hours)

Rates: Up to £45 - DOE 

Payment method: LTD outside or Umbrella payroll available 

Working arrangements: Hybrid (50:50)

Interview dates: W/C 8th and 15th of July.

Requirements:

Degree in Environmental Health or Higher cert in Food Control / Inspection

Up to date Competency matrix

20 hours CPD

Access to your own vehicle & full UK driver's license.

Experience in Uniform database (advantageous)
