Are you an experienced Housing Standards Officer looking to step up to your next challenge? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Housing Standards Officer to lead the Boston Housing Standards Team.

The Housing Standards Team is responsible for the regulation of the private rented sector, including houses in multiple occupation. The primary functions of the team include housing inspections, advice and where appropriate enforcement, to ensure standards are met and maintained. As a Senior Housing Standards Officer you will have previous experience of working within an enforcement focused environment, preferably within housing, including:

As part of your role you will provide day to day line management to the Boston based team to help ensure that housing conditions across the districts meet nationally adopted standards. In addition to this you will be working collaboratively with the Senior Officers from our 2 Partner Councils. With support from the Team Leader and Service Manager you will be working as a key person within the team to help deliver this service.
