Grade 4 to 9, Salary £23,893 to £35,745 per annum

37 hours per week Mon-Fri Permanent

Are you interested in protecting and improving public health? We are looking for a new member to join our Environmental Protection Team.

Within this team you will carry out investigations of noise and other public health nuisances, using a mix of advice and enforcement to secure improvements. Experience of dealing with the public is a requirement of this post, but prior knowledge of environmental protection matters is not essential as the appointee will be supported to develop their knowledge in this area.

With this post you will be based in the City Centre but expected to travel widely across the city. Contracted hours are 37 hours per week, and this will occasionally include evening and weekend duties.
