EHO Food Officer

Our local authority client, based in Devon are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Food Officer. The requirement is ASAP and the client can offer a 3 month contract seeing you into the new financial year.

This role requires you to be fully compliant within EH Food. Our client can only consider those who hold the following:
*Higher Certificate in Food Control awarded by the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) or CIEH
*Higher Certificate in Official Control awarded by the Scottish Food Safety Officers Registration Board (SFSORB)
*A Certificate of Registration awarded by the EHRB to practice as an Environmental Health Practitioner
*A Diploma in Environmental Health awarded by the EHRB or the REHIS
*Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control (APC) awarded by CIEH
*Degree in Environmental Health
*Masters Degree in Environmental Health
*Environmental Health Practitioner (Integrated Degree) Apprenticeship

This is a part time position, working 22 hours per week of which must be done on district. The client is able to offer mileage on top of the hourly rate and the role will fall inside IR35. Pay rates will start from £45 per hour. You must have your own vehicle due to rural location.
