Specialist Environmental Health Officer

we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed EHO to join our fantastic Commercial Team here at Monmouthshire.

You will join a team of specialist officers engaged in a range of Environmental Health duties within the Commercial Team, covering matters such as food safety & standards, health & safety, communicable disease, training, and private water supplies, amongst others. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to other initiatives undertaken by the EH team as part of the wider public health agenda.

LOCATION: County Hall, Usk (satellite offices throughout the County / agile working policy)

GRADE : Band J SCP 35-39 £43,421 - £47,420 pro rata

HOURS: 0.8 FTE (30 hrs per week)

TEMPORARY: No - permanent
