Food Safety Inspector

We have the opportunity to secure an 11 month project to deliver the inspection programme detailed below:

The expectation is to deliver around 70 per month so it is totally manageable by 1 inspector.

You will carry out the full premises inspection (hygiene and standards), using the aide memoire as a guide and completing it accurately during the inspection. An inspection report will also be completed at each premise, which you will sign and also obtain signature from the FBO. A copy will be left on site.

Non-compliances with food law will be clearly identified in the aide memoire discussed with the FBO at the closing meeting. The main points will be reflected in the report so that the business understands what needs to be put right. The points will be put under headings of structure, hygiene and confidence in management. For businesses with significant non-compliance photos will be required as evidence for any future enforcement action or appeals against rating.

We would ideally want to pay a flat rate for this project of around £55 per inspection. Our client is a Local Authority in East London.
