Housing and Environmental Health Service - Environmental Protection & Housing Team
Job title: Environmental Health Officer / Senior Environmental Health Officer
Salary:£32,926 - £47,530 per annum (career graded), dependent on qualifications and experience, plus a welcome payment of 10% Hours: Full-time (37 per week), open to flexible working patterns and hours
Hybrid working: Flexibility with homeworking and office-based days
Contract: Permanent
The Role
Join our Environmental Health Service and make a difference!
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our busy Environmental Protection & Housing Team.
You will carry out a wide variety of work, gaining experience across all fields of environmental protection, anti-social behaviour, housing and public health.
The Experience you will bring
Ideally, you bring additional experience and/or qualifications in housing, nuisance, public health, planning/licensing consultations, contaminated land or air quality.
If you’re a recent graduate or still gaining experience, we’re looking for your passion and eagerness to learn.
If you’re a budding manager we’ll help nurture and develop your skills and allow you to mentor, manage and support our Technical Officers.
