Job Details

Our client, based in South Yorkshire are looking to appoint experienced Private Sector Housing Officers who can carry out HHSRS inspections on a per inspection basis. They have about 500 - 600 to get completed in 8 months and they are looking to split this between 2 people. These will be mostly 2 up, 2 down properties.

You will be asked to provide your own device and use the "Pocket Survey App" where you will enter the inspection results, create the schedule and notice (most will be improvement notices). It will be your responsibility to arrange access and this will be assisted with the issuing of Section 239 letters. All post inspection follow up work will be carried out by the Council but you will need to create the report (via the app) and once they agree it has been completed correctly you will be paid.

Current officers can complete 10 inspections a day with the following day to complete the write up so in and 5 inspections and write up per day.

In order to be considered it is essential that you have knowledge of Housing Act 2014 and knowledge and experience in HHSRS inspections. Experience using the "Pocket Survey App" will leave you in a strong position and you will need to have a home number that can be give out to the public (you can purchase a new sim card for this and use this as a number to allow the public to reach out to allow you to be as efficient in creating appointments as possible).

Please reach out ASAP if you are keen on his work and we can provide more information.
