Job Details
Our local authority client, based in Berkshire are looking to appoint an experienced EH Housing Officer to carry out HMO inspections. You will also be expected to investigate failure to licence cases and taking enforcement action as necessary. Candidate will be expected to take part in early morning multi-agency visits and be on a duty rota.
This role requires you at the very least to hold the HHSRS certificate due to the nature of the work required. It is crucial you have the ability to undertake full range of regulatory functions in relation to private sector housing including HHSRS inspections, property licensing, enforcement action and investigations and representing the Council at Court or Tribunal
This is a full time post, working 36 hours per week and the client has noted that some early starts will be required. The hourly rate will be £45 per hour.
