Job Details
Our client, based in Cumbria are looking for an EHO to fulfil the Councils statutory duties relating to pollution control / public health complaints (mainly noise but also smoke, odour, light, refuse, filthy premises, etc), in the locality. Other duties will involve air pollution/noise monitoring, land drainage & flooding and collating / distributing information relating to bathing waters. This role is to provide administrative and technical support to the team as well as some low-level enforcement. The candidate must have previous experience in EP work and good IT (Civica) and customer service skills.
To be successful in this work you need to have experience doing the same for another Local Authority as they need someone who can hit thr gournd with little to no guidsance.
This role is to provide cover during a recruitment process for permanent staff and this is a 'boots on the ground' job, home and site visits etc in response to low level complaints, based from the Town Hall. It can be remote on one or two days per week and they are looking to pay around £40 for an initial 3 mpnth contract. They are ideally looking for someone to do 37 hours/week, with a start date of Monday 29th January 2024.
