I'm working with a Warwickshire-based local authority who are looking for a Senior Environmental Health Officer to join their Private Sector Housing team on an initial 3-month contract.
You’ll be stepping in to lead 3 officers to respond to service requests, dealing with HHSRS inspections, HMO Licensing, Empty Homes and also some MEES work.
You’ll be given enforcement powers which will allow you to serve statutory notices, collate evidence and attend Courts of Law and Tribunals to enforce the housing standards legislation.
What’s in it for me?
- Initial 3-month contract with a likely extension
- £40 - £45 per hour depending on experience (equivalent to up to £81,000 per year)
- Hybrid working – a maximum of just 3 days on-site per week.
Due to the nature of this role, you’ll need to be EHORB Registered, as well as HHSRS accredited with some recent experience within Private Sector Housing. Management/Leadership experience will also be ideal.
They are looking for someone to start ASAP so if you like the sound of this opportunity or know someone who may be interested, please call Michael on 07821 680 247 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
