Private Sector Housing Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the East of England for a Hybrid Private Sector Housing Officer to focus on supporting the delivery of proactive and reactive measures to improve standards and compliance. 

You will be tasked with:

licensing houses in multiple occupation (HMOs)

proactively identifying new HMOs

inspecting properties using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System

managing a caseload of complaints and requests for advice.

To be considered, you will have practical experience of current knowledge of Private Sector Housing enforcement

NB - a driving licence is essential to this role as you’ll need to travel around the district.
