Job Details

Our client, based in South London are looking to appoint an experienced EHORB Registered Environmental Health Food Officer to carry out routine or unplanned visits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

The Council have around 400 food inspections to be undertaken by a contractor, they will pay £55 per inspection. The successful contractor will be provided with a list of inspections to be undertaken across the whole year and a laptop will be provided where you will be expected to undertake pre inspection database checks etc. Payment will be approved on receipt of inspection paperwork which should be submitted within five working days to our support team who will input all inspections.

In order to be considered, you must have recent experience within a local authority undertaking food inspection work. You must be EHORB Registered, hold a minimum of 20 hours CPD and have completed the Food Competency Assessment.

The contract will start ASAP and will continue until the end of March 2024. Due to the nature of the work it can be carried out by someone full time or by someone who has a full time role.

This is outside IR35 so can be paid into a LTD company or using Umbrella.
