Job Details

Our client, based in North Kent, are looking for a DFG Officer to manage clients' applications for Disabled Facilities Grants, loans and repair grants, including designing and organising schemes ensuring the property meets the needs of individuals and the Decent Homes Standard.
To be successful it is crucial that you have experience in a residential building surveying related capacity in a local authority environment, in working and processing datasets, databases and can interpret data and knowledge of housing legislation in the areas of applying housing renewal in relation to private sector housing including supervision of building works and means testing. It is also important that you can process grants and have a qualification to HNC/D Level in surveying or relevant professional qualification.
This will be initial 3 month contract paying £30-£36PH Umbrella. Hybrid working mainly site-visits and working remote, occasional office attendance may be required but this is flexible and can be discussed in detail during interview.
