EHO - Health and Safety

Our client, bases in South London are looking for an EHO who will be enforcing the Health and Safety at Work etc.1974. and the associated regulations. Investigation of accidents under RIDDOR, Health and safety service requests, Legionella investigations, service of informal and formal notices and working towards the teams business plan with projects incorporating Health and Safety Executive priorities and local priorities.

To be successful you must have knowledge of health and safety in the enforcement area. As well as A relevant degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent academic or professional standard. It is also crucial that you are able to provide a specialist role and expert knowledge to a regulatory service that is responsible for protecting the community, by using relevant legislation to control and enforce in the areas of environmental health.

Visits to business premises and revisits to check compliance where required but you can work from home one day a week.

If successful you will be offered an contract paying £35PH Umbrella, if you have all of the above the client may be able to negotiate the rate to fit what you need.
