Job Details
Our local authority client based in South West England are looking to appoint an experienced EH Housing Officer. Main duties will include:
1 - The investigation of complaints relating to residential accommodation including mobile home sites.
2 - The inspection of private sector housing, including houses in multiple occupation, in order to undertake risk assessments based on the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and other appropriate standards in order to establish the most satisfactory course of action in respect of enforcement.
Our clients are looking for experienced officers, those who can hit the ground running. EHORB Reg is very much desired but you must hold the HHSRS cert.
This is currently a 3 month contract and full time - 4 days a week is the minimum. 5 days would be ideal. Please note that remote working is not available, you must be onsite to carry out inspections which are in walking distance of office. Rates will be from £40 per hour.
