Job Details

Our local authority client based in North London are looking to appoint an experienced EH Housing Officer. You will help improve standards within the private rented sector within the Borough, whether this be through the investigation of complaints or through their Houses in Multiple Occupation licensing schemes. The role will enable you to utilise the full range of enforcement tools to tackle sub-standard private rented accommodation within the Borough, from HMO Licensing, improvement notices to Final Management Orders and Banning Orders. You will also be expected to promote the use of grants and landlord accreditation as an alternative or complementary approach, all with the aim of improving the private housing sector in the borough, with particular emphasis on the private rented sector.

Our clients are looking for experienced officers, those who can hit the ground running. EHORB Reg is very much desired but you must hold the HHSRS cert.

This is currently a 3 month contract, working 36 hours per week. Pay rates are between £35 to £40. We are happy to submit those who are looking for flexible working and would like to negotiate on the rate. Please let us know your working pattern and rate when getting in touch.
