Environmental Health Officer

Are you a dedicated Environmental Health Officer seeking a fulfilling opportunity? position entails conducting food hygiene inspections, with a contract length of 9 months. You will be working for a longstanding client of our based in Nottinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive food hygiene inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Identifying potential health hazards and recommending corrective actions to minimize risks.
• Providing expert guidance and support to food businesses to promote best practices in food safety.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of inspections and related activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A recognized qualification in Environmental Health or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in conducting food hygiene inspections for a local authority is essential.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to food safety and hygiene.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders.

Contract Details:

• Contract Length: 9 months.
• Hourly Rate: £40 per hour.
