Salary: PO2 – PO4 - £37,725 - £46,857 per annum + 31 days annual leave   

Contract: Permanent   

Location: Haringey, North London

Hours: 36 hours per week

About the role

We are a very friendly, caring team who value the fact that everyone feels happy in their job even though the workload can be tough at times. Everyone helps each other out and no-one feels that they can’t ask questions or ask for another officers opinion. Officers make their own enforcement decisions at Haringey but managers are always there to talk things over and provide support.

You will deal with a large workload of challenging cases which will provide excellent experience and plenty of job satisfaction.

About you

Haringey is looking for an enthusiastic private sector housing team member who has a passion for their job and a desire to improve tenants living conditions. We want someone who isn’t afraid of using all the enforcement tools available to achieve this. We have both a Borough wide Additional HMO scheme and a Selective licensing scheme in place and the officer who is successful will also get involved with licensing and enforcement around licensing.
