Job Details
Our client located in Kent is looking to appoint 2 members of staff in the Housing team. They require a Private Sector Housing Technical Officer as well as an EHO.
The Technical Officer will have proven technical administrative support and be able to work alongside the enforcement officers in the Private Sector Housing Team. The role holder will be the first point of contact for the team, giving advice and signposting clients to encourage and empower them to self-serve. The role holder will work closely with the Technical Support Manager and PSH Team Managers to ensure the team operates in an efficient way.
The EHO will predominately deal with housing relating complaints, HMOs, HMO licensing and to do HHSRS assessments when needed. In order to be considered you must have a minimum of two years’ experience of undertaking the work required, you must also possess either a BSc or Higher Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health, or another relevant degree and must be Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) qualified. Knowledge of Uniform will put you in a strong position.
Our client requires someone who can start ASAP. The contract will run for an initial 3 months but this is expected to be extended for further 3-6 months. Pay rates will reflect your experience and qualifications form £30-£37PH LTD.
