Job Details
Our client has requirement to complete 100 Cat D food hygiene inspections between July and September and the would like to do this on a per inspection basis.
You wi ll be required to complete a hand written inspection form; completion of the hand written report of the visit will be left with the business. Where a business scores a Food Hygiene Rating Score of 3 or less you will be required to produce and issue a typed report. You will not be required to carry out the data input task as this will be undertaken by permanent staff.
You will simply need to return the completed documents within 5 days of completing the inspections. No re-visits or formal enforcement action will be required as this will be undertaken by permanent staff.
We need established Food Safety Inspectors with recent experience carrying out Cat D food hygiene inspections on behalf of a Local Authority. You will need to provide your own personal protective clothing and all other necessary equipment needed to do a satisfactory food hygiene inspection. You will need your own transport with adequate vehicle insurance for business use as inspections will be across the Borough.
Our client is based fairly close to Southampton so it would be ideal if you lived locally but it is not essential provided you can are able to access the area easily.
We will look to pay around £50 - £60 per inspection.
