Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and quality of the food we eat? Do you have experience in conducting food safety inspections and enforcing food safety legislation?

On behalf of our Warwickshire-based client, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join their Environmental Health team on an initial 4-month contract.

You'll be stepping in to carry out inspections, ensuring food safety standards are met and maintained in accordance with legal requirements.

Your inspections will be mostly low-risk, so they will include:

  • Category C’s,
  • Category D’s,
  • Unrated premises - please note that some of these could end up being B-rated premises

You’ll ideally have recent experience within a local authority carrying out food safety inspections and have fully up-to-date CPD.

What’s in it for me?

  • Initial 4-month rolling contract with likely extension beyond this
  • Hybrid working – 3 days on site/2 days working from home
  • £34-£40 per hour DOE – equivalent to earning up to £72,000 a year

They are looking for someone to start by the end of May so if you feel this is the right role for you or a colleague, please get in touch with Michael at 07821 680247 or email with any enquiries.
