Food Safety Officer

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and quality of the food we eat? Do you have experience in conducting food safety inspections and enforcing food safety legislation?

On behalf of our Warwickshire-based client, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join their Environmental Health team on an initial 4-month contract.

You'll be stepping in to carry out inspections, ensuring food safety standards are met and maintained in accordance with legal requirements.

Your inspections will be mostly low-risk, so they will include:

• Category C’s,
• Category D’s,
• Unrated premises - please note that some of these could end up being B-rated premises

You’ll ideally have recent experience within a local authority carrying out food safety inspections and have fully up-to-date CPD.

• £34-£40 per hour DOE – equivalent to earning up to £72,000 a year
