Full time Hours: 37 hours

This post is Grade 6: £39,977 - £45,568 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Environmental Health Officer within the Food & Workplace Safety Team where you will have your own district and carry out the full range of food hygiene, health and safety and special treatment registration work.

As rural councils in Oxfordshire the suitable candidate will have the ability to travel throughout the Council areas. We have embraced mobile working carrying out 95% of our work on hand held devices. We also pay one professional membership fee.

All applicants must hold a Degree in Environmental Health or a Diploma in Environmental Health that is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.  Applicants must also hold an Environmental Health Registration Board certificate (EHRB certificate) or be a Registered or Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner as defined by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health registration pathways as an essential requirement.
