We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Environmental Health Officer to join our team in Nottinghamshire. This is a 3-month contract role, paying £40 per hour, covering private sector housing.
As an Environmental Health Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Conducting HHSRS inspections
- HMO licensing
- Enforcement to ensure that privately rented properties meets the required standards.
Your role will be vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in the area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, and a strong understanding of environmental health and housing regulations. You should be confident in conducting inspections and able to communicate clearly with landlords and property managers. You should be able to work independently, manage your own workload effectively, and have excellent attention to detail.
