Eastleigh Borough Council is an ambitious and progressive Council and we are recognised for our innovation and achievements, whilst delivering high quality service to our customers and the community.
We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Housing Enforcement Officer.
Areas of responsibility will focus on regulation and enforcement in connection with rented accommodation standards and houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). You will be expected to carry out site visits, undertake full property inspections and assessments, provide clear and detailed reports, keep and maintain clear case records, and handle licensing applications for HMOs and Caravan Sites.
You will need to have a good standard of general education, and higher education in environmental health or similar subject and/or membership of relevant professional body is desirable.
