Our client in North London is recruiting for multiple positions within their Private Sector Housing team starting ASAP.
The team is responsible for the investigation of complaints and undertaking the inspection of private sector dwellings, taking action to ensure the health and safety of the occupants and that their homes are well managed. This will largely be working within the HMO Licencing Team.
Our client is also open to considering newly qualified individuals from an Environmental Health background.

All contracts will be on a minimum 6-month basis with the potential for extension
Hourly rate - dependent on experience.
- Degree in Environmental Health Housing or a Building related subject. Qualified HHSRS practitioner Experience of working within a local government Environmental Health Team or similar. Understanding in undertaking property inspections and investigation of complaints of housing conditions and taking subsequent enforcement action. Knowledge of the regulatory framework guidance and good practice in relation to the Housing Acts Housing Health and Safety Rating System HMO legislation and associated enforcement legislation. Good admin skills required
