Job Details
Our local authority client, based in Central London are looking to appoint an experienced Pollution Officer with a Diploma in Acoustics or equivalent relevant qualification. You will take the lead and personal responsibility for effective investigation and resolution of casework across the full range of Environmental Health Pollution functions. Pollution services incorporate noise and statutory nuisances including but not limited to construction/licensed premise/people noise, planning applications and contaminated land.
Our client will only consider those who hold a BSc/MSc or Diploma in Environmental Health and hold the EHRB Certificate/Diploma in Environmental Health. Also you must hold competency in noise and statutory nuisances and/or competency in contaminated land with experience of delivery and training for role requirements.
This role is due to start ASAP and will run for an initial 3 months. Rates will start from £35 Umbrella and the client is willing to negotiate higher.
