Job Details
Our client, based in South London are looking to hire a Pollution Control Officer or an Environmental Health Officer to work in a busy Pollution team.
You will be asked to help with Statutory Nuisance complaint investigation and enforcement. Ideally you will have some experience of industrial pollution control of prescribed processes and planning development control.
You will be providing advice over the phone but where required you will organise and conduct follow up investigation work; you will need to have a good grasp of relevant environmental protection legislation, typical work includes noise and nuisance complaints, fly tipping and other statuary nuisance cases.
Recruitment is intended for a 6 month period although the current authorisation is for a 12 week period only. Start date is flexible, although we will need opportunity to ensure all necessary pre-employment checks, IT support etc is in place before commencement
You will be paid £35 - £40PH Umbrella
