Norwich City Council is looking to enhance its Corporate Health and Safety & Team. This is an opportunity to be part of a newly formed team which will drive behavioural change across the Council to ensure excellence in health, safety, welfare management and compliance with Corporate Health and Safety Policy, Procedures, and relevant Statutory Regulations.

You will assist with the planning, implementation and monitoring the effectiveness of our newly created health and safety management system, policies and procedures, delivering a comprehensive, robust corporate health and safety service that will cover the Council’s people, places and spaces.

Leading the Council’s Corporate Health and Safety team, you will work to implement robust strategies, policies and procedures to a consistently high standard. You will work collaboratively across all functions and teams within the Council to ensure that services are delivered within statutory and regulatory standards.
