Health and Safety Consultant, Food Specialist

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with a background in food hygiene, who is self-disciplined and client focused? Do you have consultancy experience or experience of working across a wide range of industries / sectors? 

Do you hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and a BSc in Environmental Health or Level 4 Food Safety?  Are you a minimum Grad IOSH and a member of CIEH?

Why your role matters

Our Health and Safety Consultants perform the critical role of assisting our clients in managing their health & safety commitments as part of WorkNest’s contractual obligations.

They work as one of the “Competent Persons” on behalf of WorkNest for their client portfolio, ensuring that the highest standards of professional client service are delivered. 

What you’ll be doing

You’ll effectively manage a portfolio of clients ensuring that close client relationships are maintained and a valued H&S service is provided throughout the client life-cycle. But you’ll also work closely with the Director of H&S services to formulate and implement a food safety services plan that impacts on clients nationwide.  All of this will require you to carry out both physical and remote H&S and food audits against agreed standards specific requirements and codes of practice across the UK

Where you’ll be working

This role is home based, with H&S clients based in the Midlands and food services required nationwide.
