We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Environmental Health Practitioner to join our busy Environmental Health & Licensing Team. The posts will cover various disciplines. Part-time/job share applicants would be considered.

Why work for South Staffordshire Council?

South Staffordshire is a diverse district, made up of a collection of large and small villages, each with its own distinctive character set in an attractive semi-rural area on the western edge of the West Midlands conurbation. Around 80% of the district is Green Belt and we are also home to some major employers such as Jaguar Land Rover and Moog Aerospace.

We are an exciting and award-winning Council that has lots to offer. We support agile ways of working and flexible working patterns. Employees can benefit from an excellent flexi-time scheme with up to 24 flex days leave available to take per year. Our fully modernised offices are open to staff from 7.30am to 6.30pm and remote working hours are from 6am to 11pm. Our offices are a real community hub being home to not only Council services but also several partner organisations, local businesses, library services, doctors surgery and cafe all in one central location. We also offer an additional annual leave ‘buying scheme’ if required. We are committed to our colleagues working flexibly and building a healthy, vibrant and inclusive organisation.
