Our Private Sector client in Nottinghamshire is seeking an interim ASB Officer to start ASAP.

 

 

Main Purpose of the Role

 

Investigate and respond to complaints and enquiries within corporate standards and timescales. Develop and lead on partnership action plans to resolve complex ASB issues, giving consideration to short, medium- and long-term impact. Investigate complaints sent to the community safety team and build an evidence pack for Court standard.

 

Work within the streets patrolling and engaging with the street community and where appropriate working with partners to identify and implement solutions to reduce crime and ASB.

 

You should have excellent communication skills including the ability to produce good quality reports and build evidence packages and the ability to problem solve. Have the ability to undertaking the full range of community safety duties which may vary according to the size and profile of the area. Including but not limited to, street patrols, visits, attending partnership meetings, working with communities and building relationships with partners. Using prevention, early intervention education and enforcement approaches.

 

· You must have excellent communication skills to be able to speak and listen to people form all walks of life.

 

· Ability to investigate complex cases and pull evidence packages together to a legal standard, to build partnership action plans to resolve complex issues.

 

· Ability to prioritise, implement and monitor work with conflicting priorities in line with targets and objectives in a pressurised environment.

 

· Ability to work with people in challenging circumstances and to maintain a calm and professional approach in difficult situations.

 

· Excellent case management, planning and organising skills.

 

· Experience of working in a partnership setting and managing cross organisations priorities, both internally and externally to deliver solutions to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and increase community confidence.

 

· Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to apply these through a range of media to internal and external audiences with differing needs.

 

· Ability to work with people in challenging circumstances and to maintain a calm and professional approach in difficult situations.

 

This is a temporary contract of 6 months with the possibility of a extension, whereby you will be required to work a total of 40x hours per week, Monday-Sunday. The successful candidate will be paid £12 per hour.

 

It is imperative you have a full UK Driver’s License and access to your own vehicle.
