Job Details
Our local authority client, based in Hertfordshire have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health Manager to join their small team. Although you will be managing the EP team they are looking for experienced manager who have good technical knowledge in one or more fields of Environmental Health, with a preference in nuisance and Env Protection.
As previously mentioned, in order for us to submit you to this role you must have experience working at management level. They are looking for a good manager who will be able to actively work with Head of Service and assist Head of Public Health and Protection in the preparation of service and development plans (including statutory service plans required by External Agencies) and assist with recruitment and selection, disciplinary investigations, sickness absence monitoring and other corporate management activities as required. Manage and assist the education and development of student EHOs or other trainee staff.
Our client anticipates this contract running for at least 6 months and has requested those who would be available to work 37 hours per week. Hybrid working is available but they have requested that you are present in the office for at least half the week. They may consider 4 days a week as well. Rates will start at £50 but please note that they are willing to negotiate higher for the right candidate.
