Job Details

Our client, based in West London are looking for a Private Sector Housing Officer to help out with providing operational and policy advice to colleagues and managers although some visits and interventions will be required.

To be successful you will need to have experience in the above for another Local Authority, it is also 100% necessary for you to have the HHSRS certificate. It is essential that you have a high level of competency and experience of the Housing Act 2004 and associated regulations as well as competency and experience of Property Licensing including both additional HMO and selective (and mandatory HMO's). Experience of ACM and other high risk cladding building safety as well as understanding of empty property interventions, CPO's and general Env Health will put you in a very strong position.

The successful candidate will be offered a full or part time placement paying £40-£45PH Umbrella depending on experience and qualifications. Hybrid working (3-4 days a week remote pro rata). This contract is due to start in December and will run until April 2023. Free on street parking near office.
