Job Details
Our local authority client, based in South London have an opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health Manager to join their team. You will work in conjunction with the Director of the Environment Directorate, Head of Regulatory Services, other service Business Unit Managers and lead members, to ensure effective delivery and long term planning of key council and Division priorities. The duties of the role involve the management of the Neighbourhood Noise and Nuisance Service comprising three teams: Licensing, Noise and Anti-social Behaviour. We have a full JD available upon request.
In order to be considered, you must have experience of working to a management level in Environmental Health. You must have experience of managing, leading, developing, motivating and monitoring the performance of teams, contractors and commissioned services to successfully deliver performance against targets within a large organisation and partnership working. You must also have experience in developing divisional business plans, projects and performance management frameworks, including effectively managing capital, revenue and grant budgets.
This role is currently running until the end of March 2023. The current pay rate is £450 per day, if you would like for us to negotiate on your behalf for a higher rate please do indicate what this rate would be when you reply.
