Private Sector Housing Officer

I’m working with a West Midlands-based local authority looking for a Private Sector Housing Officer to join their Housing Enforcement team on an initial 3-6 month rolling contract.

Your duties will consist of the following:

• HHSRS inspections
• Inspecting empty properties
• HMO Licensing
• Writing enforcement notices and preparing prosecutions

Experience in using HHSRS is desired as you will need it to carry out your inspections. 

What’s in it for me?

• £37-£42 per hour DOE
• Only 2-3 days on site

Things to do in the area:

You’ll be working in a great location with lots to do, there’s a countryside which boasts antique gift shops, a park where you can meet tame domestic animals like alpacas and ponies (kid-friendly) as well as some historical sights to see dating back to the 19^th century.
